The Database Administrator will be a key member of the technical department and you will be involved in the analysis, design, and management of company databases.

A typical day in the office includes:

  • Responsibility for maintaining the integrity and performance of the company’s database servers
  • Implementing changes and applying new patches and versions when required
  • Guaranteeing that data is stored securely and optimally
  • Managing database access
  • Creating automation for repeating database tasks
  • Creating and managing database reports, visualizations and dashboards
  • Building and maintaining SQL scripts of high complexity to meet product requirements
  • Analyzing, designing and implementing databases with the aim to deliver work products that meet specifications, are defect-free and have optimal performance
  • Understanding of complex systems as well as the implications of different database designs on performance, scalability and maintainability and how a minor error can cause major problems
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting database errors
  • Using high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
  • Minimizing database downtime and managing parameters to provide fast query responses
  • Determining, enforcing and documenting database policies, procedures and standards
  • Performing tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
  • Working on teams and communicating effectively with managers, developers and technical support engineers


  • B.S. in Computer Science, Informatics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
  • Proven working experience as a Database administrator
  • Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
  • Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
  • Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
  • Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications
  • An eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines
  • Up-to-date knowledge of technology and the Data Protection Act
  • Excellent command of the English language in verbal and written form
  • Completed military obligations (for male candidates)

What it's nice to have:

  • Familiarity with creating / using APIs
  • Working experience in the telecommunications and/or mobile marketing sector
